Ten Frames

Learn to draw or fold a ten frame. Use the ten frame to count different things around your room. What did you notice?

Number Walk

Go for a walk with your family and hunt for numbers! You can search and count for numbers 0 - 20, marking each number with a tally mark or make a 100s chart and colour each number you find!

How Many?

Look at the pictures of eggs. What do you see? How do you see it? Where is the math? What can you count? Fold you paper into 4 parts. Record different ways you counted.

One Away

Draw or create 10 houses. Pick a toy to visit the houses. Use a spinner, or pick a number to 10. Add 1 or subtract 1 to the number you got. Which house did you visit?

1. Use the "Settings Gear" to change to Add 2 or Subtract 2

2. Spin the spinner to pick a number

3. Add 2 or subtract 2, what is your answer?

Tell Me

Everything

Choose a number from 5 – 20. Write down everything you can tell me about that number. How many tallies? How many fingers? What does it look like in a sentence? What about a math sentence? How many ways can you break it into parts? (e.g., 5 = 2+3).​
